From the tree-lined streets of Sacramento to the rugged granite of Yosemite, we’re Nathan Sherman and Beth Christensen, siblings, longtime real-estate professionals, and now, officially, The Brother and Sister Team at Dunnigan Realtors.
With about 30 years of combined experience in the Sacramento market, we’ve built a partnership rooted in shared values, complementary skill sets, and mutual trust. Over the years, we found ourselves repeatedly helping each other out during busy seasons, pooling our knowledge to support clients, and trading ideas about how to provide the best possible service. It became clear: together, we’re stronger.
Nathan came to real estate after years of owning rental properties, managing complex projects, and negotiating deals, long before becoming a REALTOR. His background in brand management and marketing gives our listings an edge, helping your home stand out from the competition.
Meanwhile, Beth’s entrepreneurial spirit, honed from running a successful smog-station business and navigating its profitable sale, means she brings strategic thinking, attention to detail, and top-notch communication and follow-through to every transaction.
Outside of real estate, our bond stretches far beyond the office. We share a deep love for the outdoors, from weekend hikes around Sacramento to unforgettable treks up Half Dome and a 23 mile fundraising hike in Tahoe for the Make-A-Wish foundation.
Those adventures taught us something important that we bring to work every day: great things happen when you climb together.

Meet Nathan Sherman
You will always get personal service when working with me. My 35,000+ hours of experience of helping buyers and sellers will always be at your service.
I started my real estate career in 1994 when I turned my first home into a rental. One rental turned into two and soon I owned thirteen rentals. I became very familiar with the buying and selling process as a client before ever realizing I should be a real estate agent instead of a landlord.
In 2010 I joined Dunnigan Realtors and refocused my passion. Now I hunt for the perfect homes for my clients and use my extensive past corporate experience in brand management and marketing to make my listings stand out from the competition. With years of experience in project management and complex negotiations before becoming a Realtor I strive for the best results for my clients while making the process as smooth as possible.
With almost no personal advertising (you’ll never see my name on a bus bench, billboard or news paper ad) I’ve built my business through providing superior service and communication. The majority of my business is now past clients and referrals but I usually have time to take on new clients that find me in other ways as well. For many years I have consistently been in the top 1% production out of all Sacramento County agents.
Aside from real estate my passions are going to Yosemite, Tahoe and anywhere in the mountains. Hiking around Sacramento, up Half Dome and across the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim in a day. And most of all, I love traveling the world with my amazing wife.
I live in East Sac and love these amazing older homes here but I am happy to help my clients in whatever neighborhood they would like to live.
Meet Beth Christensen
I joined Dunnigan Realtors in 2013, bringing with me a strong entrepreneurial background and a passion for helping people reach their real estate goals. Before transitioning into real estate, I founded and operated two successful automotive businesses — including a Star Certified Test & Repair shop that remains in operation today under separate ownership.
Running my own businesses taught me how to think strategically, manage complex details, and deliver exceptional customer service — skills I now use every day as a Realtor. From marketing and negotiation to clear communication and follow-through, I bring the same professionalism, accountability, and dedication that helped me build successful companies.
As both a long-term and short-term rental property owner, I enjoy sharing my firsthand experience with clients who are interested in investment properties or vacation rentals.
I love expanding my knowledge and have earned several professional designations, including:

My professional accomplishments include graduating from Sacramento Association of Realtors Leadership Academy, receiving the Sacramento Association of Realtors Shining Star Award, and becoming a Sacramento Association of Realtors Masters Club Life Member.

Outside of real estate, I enjoy hiking, cycling, and spending time with my pets — two dogs and two cats, all rescues. I’m a big animal lover who enjoys supporting meaningful causes and sharing my favorite vegan recipes.
