From August 30-September 2, Old Sac will go back in time for the 14th Annual Gold Rush Days, with dirt-covered streets, historic figures in period costume and music recreating Sacramento in the 1850s.
You’ll have a great time discovering the capital city’s heritage. Become part of the action by panning for gold or watch Pony Express riders show off their skills. A variety of arts and crafts vendors, food and entertainment venues ensure a fun–and educational–day for all. Admission is free, with tickets available to purchase for wagon rides, train rides, Hornblower cruises and underground tours.
