You might not believe it, but autumn is actually one of the best times to start a remodel or other home improvement. After the rush of spring and summer, contractors aren’t as busy and are more willing to offer a deal to get your business. You’ll find many of these contractors at the 13th annual Sacramento’s Fall Home Show, running this weekend, October 10-12, at Cal Expo.
This year’s show will feature about 200 vendors, all located in the large Pavilion building and in the outdoor area leading up to the building from the East Gate entrance. Just about every home improvement project you can think of will be represented, from roofing to floors and everything in-between, indoors and out.
The show is open 12pm-6pm Friday, 10am-6pm Saturday and 10am-5pm Sunday. General admission is $6 ($5 with a can of food for the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services), children 12 and under free. Parking at Cal Expo is $10 per vehicle. For more information, go to sachomeandgardenshow.net/fall.
