This coming weekend, April 5 and 6, the Capital City African Violet Society (CCAVS) will their annual African violet show and plant sale at Shepard Garden and Arts Center. More than 1000 plants, including hard-to-find varieties, will be available for sale, as well as handmade self-watering ceramic pots. Free potting will also be available with purchase.
The show runs from 1-4pm on Saturday, and 11am-3pm on Sunday. Admission and parking is free. For more information, go to www.sgaac.org or www.sacviolets.org.
