4th of July Festivities

If you’re feeling extra patriotic this 4th of July, you’re in luck if you live in East Sac. First, the River Park Neighborhood Association will hold its annual Fourth of July Festival at Glenn Hall Park. Starting at 10am, the Firecracker antique car parade and kids bike parade wind their way through the neighborhood to the park. The festival includes games, races, art displays, live music and refreshments.

Or you can get yourself into the red, white and blue mood with the East Sacramento Fourth of July parade, which begins at 11am on the corner of 41st and M Streets. With this parade, many of the people that come to watch end up walking along with the participants. It’s a great show of East Sac neighborhood pride and togetherness as well as a way to celebrate our nation’s freedoms.
